Great food, good price, friendly service. A family-run restaurant with good options and better food. The daughter is very friendly and the father came out of the kitchen to check up on folks. Have tried several items on the menu now and I've never regretted any of them. Love the several different sauces available on the tables and the salsa bar, or for takeout as well!
The tacos were hot and incredibly fresh and delicious. Loved the carnitas—perfect, subtle spicing—and the pollo. Nice house salsas, too. Just a quick drop-in on our road trip, but this very clean, very friendly taqueria made our day, and made the tummies very happy with a five-taco plate and a drink for $10.25!
Popped in there this morning for a chorizo breakfast burrito. Chorizo, eggs, hashbrowns and cheese. It was piping hot and not greasy at all. It was delicious! Also had to get a side of rice and beans because they’re so good at Omar’s. It’s located inside the All Star Market. Super friendly staff too.
Omar’s is the real deal. Super authentic, no-frills taqueria with great food at great prices. Don’t expect fancy dining—just simple, delicious tacos and Mexican food done right. Exactly what you want in a spot like this.
For the price, portion and authenticity, not sure if there is a better option around for Mexican food. Salsas are good. Actual restaurant is nothing special and not nice, but I’ve always taken it to go. Nice people.
